floor price linked to those things would betray the difficulty avz has in getting offtake atm, since you are saying less linked to lithium prices
if less linked to lithium prices and avz can’t get offtake atm the perhaps the floor is too high?
is the floor too high?
this is a good question as there have been efforts to improve the economics of the project:
(1) drain and drill pit to enhance economics
(2) seeking SEZ and tax holidays and
(3) acquiring another 15% equity in the project
have we now identified that the real issue could be high capex as well as high opex due to transport?
and that these things necessitate a higher floor than offtakers are willing to agree to in a depressed lithium market ?
a hydroxide plant would change things but I don’t think that would be done for a decade
