There is enough idle green energy available in the DRC that it is almost criminal not to use it.
There is a HV DC transmission line running from Inga dam to Kolwezi.
Much cheaper to run a spur line from that transmission line to Manono to provide all energy available to process all lithium spodumene into final products (not just enriched ore (SC^)) than constructing a railway line.
Think outside the box.
DRC would love to enrich the spodume locally create work and keep the income in the DRC, not export that work to China.
Consumers can buy green produced lithium from the DRC.
