The current issue surrounding Tesla is more so the driver-less technology more than lithium batteries issue. Although, the driver should have override and taken control of the car.

Your argument about lithium batteries is weak and quite baseless as pretty much every single major car manufacturer is leaning towards lithium batteries. Also we already using lithium in most powered tools.

Do you not know lithium is the lightest metal? That's actually the main reason why billions of dollars have already been invested in the lithium battery industry. Very surprise you are a science teacher yet can't understand this basic fundamental....
