The Head of State, Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, President in office of the @_AfricanUnion met, by videoconference, with Mr. Charles Michel, President of the European Union.

Several points were included on the agenda, namely, the organization between June and next September, of the EU-AU Summit; assistance in the supply of vaccines in Africa; strengthening and revitalizing relations between the two institutions.

Regarding the DRC, the EU, through its President, promised to get involved in the projects initiated by the Head of State, in particular free basic education, construction of electricity dams and the pacification of the east of the country.”

This all sounds very positive for DRC government and FT support for collaboration with the EU. They clearly want to work together on green projects. Looking forward to the SG and SEZ being approved soon and EU deals for the LiSO4.
