Technically nothing illegal with what the bots are doing. Agree is gives on the does of the shi#ts.
Have though for years that insto's should be issued a monthly invoice (by asx) based on all trades. Say 50c a pop.
If you want to sell or buy a pitiful amount of stock - fine - but each trade costs. Then how about 10% of this revenue gets distributed to traded company as an admin benefit. Balance is retained by asx. At least this might encourage more 'marketable' parcels being traded.
