For me AVZ being a part of the European Battery Alliance is quite significant and puts a damper on the idea of 'Chinese taking over AVZ' or "have AVZ surrounded". Surely if a company is in the EBA they are effectively first in line (or maybe even have exclusivity) to to negotiate with and eventually supply European companies. All indications are that AVZ is currently negotiating will European companies and others atm. This information has been stated for many months now and imo it's reasonable and rational for shareholders to expect European OTs based on the information provided by the company. The EBA membership and EU negotiations never seem to be mentioned by people who are slighting the company and it's outlook.
I find the competition between SH of Li companies a bit odd. With major supply shortage coming all these Li producers should be big winners. Based on the demand forecasts it looks like there still isn't going to be enough supply.
Hopefully in 3-4 months all the significant expected milestones will have been reached and all this stuff can be put to rest. If/when this happens the AVZ forums are going to be very interesting to read, and posts like elphamale's would become much more tangible after FID.
