I note reports out of DRC, that mining executives including Glencore’s Ivan Glasenberg and Randgold Resources’ Mark Bristow have rushed to speak directly with President Joseph Kabila about new mining rules.  

It shouldn't be missed that despite to constant calls for nationalising they can't do it by themselves in terms of finance or expertise.  Therefore, like all politicians that don't see any alternative path for themselves and their supporters other than maintaining their own power base it will lead to a compromised outcome.
