After being ripped out for a small post on volume yesterday, i decided i want to share something again today i have observed. If you dont find these of interest i am sorry and you're welcome to put me on ignore.
the reason i watch volume and the fluctuations is because i always feel it is a leading indicator into a potential breakout or news. I for one dont believe markets are fair or perfect and for this reason i always seem to notice the subtle changes in volume around key events. Something i have found interesting the last week is the volatility in the volume on AVZ.
Yesterday we had Approx $110k in volume all day. less than 1m shares traded in 6 hours.
Today we open with a 4m shares traded and $700k in the first 10 minutes. Note this picture with the 4m Shares column down the bottom. Im not even sure how that happened because we had less than 4m shares in the 16 queue at the time but it somehow held?

the days before that it was dead quiet. Always under $100k before a sudden jump in volume. With 1-2m share trades going through individually.
Why do i share this?
I am not sure why its happening but to me it shows that larger investors are aware and circling AVZ, These larger trades aren't a small retail holder. It seems to me like someone is being very strategic with large trades but not wanting to move the needle on the share price. Volume seems to be volatile and lifting and i think its interesting watch in the next week or two. My feeling like everyones is that news must be very close.
My key takeaway is that with volumes on other lithium stocks being closer to $50m than $10m, we could see a very large uptick in AVZ volume when we see an insto placement announced.
Make of it what you will but something i wanted to share. I am expecting a very sharp rise in volume shortly.
