hmmm actually that makes alot of sense. I work in mt isa (quite the shit hole,but its my shit hole) and incitec pivot have an acid plant attached to the copper smelting stack, which pours out sulphur dioxide. Instead of pouring it out into the atmosohere, incitec take 80% of the exhaust and turn it into sulphuric acid, where they then train it down to a mine called phosphate hill. So ivanhoe, now having/looking to smelt copper could have an acid plant attached to their exhaust stack, which avz could own! hmmmmm yes very interesting.
Not unless anyone elses has ideas on how else you can produce sulphuric acid on site?
