Hi Scarpa
Just trying to understand the Tin mining measurements and the importance of the recovery grade.
From the latest announcement
Average lithium grade increased by 3.1% from 1.58% to 1.63% Li2O while tin grade of 990 ppm remains the same but reports a 41% increase in contained tin metal to 130.3kt.
1 Kilotonne or metric kiloton (unit of mass) is equal to 1000 metric tons. A metric ton is exactly 1000 kilograms (SI base unit) making a kilotonne equal to 1000000 kilograms.
I take it that the 130.3 kt represents kilo ton
130.3 x 1000 is 130,000 metric tons of contained tin.
At $ 33,000 per metric ton gives $4,299,900,000 but as in your posts all depends on the grades and what can be economically extracted.
But only worth what the current off-take is at the moment, but would be positive to DFI financiers.
Need confirmation of the other Tin customer .?
With Thanks
