Should have initiated a CR to cover the anticipated % ownership increase due this year back in Jan or late March when the SP was at a lot higher level.

Have a nosy round the traps for CR late Jan for Li stocks and you will see what I mean. Many took the opportunity.

Most good companies carry a bit of cash on their balance sheet, its to protect them from the unknown black swan events etc, especially when contracted due payments are in the mix.
