Canaccord lifts spodumene price forecast by 49% Canadian bank Canaccord Genuity has followed US counterpart JP Morgan in lifting its long-term lithium price forecasts, pointing to quicker than expected EV adoption and a projected supply shortage as the primary drivers. Canaccord's most significant revision was for spodumene concentrate. The bank upped its forecast price for the material by 49% for 2022 and by 45% for 2023, to US$1,175/tonne and $1,069 respectively.
