Carriere de L’Este Pegmatite is an additional stand alone Tier 1 World Class lithium+ deposit and another most sought-after asset.
Following yesterday’s news a spreadsheet sectional resource for Carrier de L’Este for those that care suggests that this deposit may contain a minimum +425Mt @ 1.57%Li2O & 727 ppm Sn (~6.7Mt contained Li2O @ 1.0% Li2O lower cut-off) over 1.6km from surface to ~300m vertical depths. Drilling is on a 200m x 200/100m grid pattern and incorporates all drillholes and assays released to date. Mineralisation remains open along strike in both directions and at depth.
Resulting in a global Manono sectional/JORC resource totalling +825Mt @ 1.61%Li2O & 739 ppm Sn (for ~13.3Mt contained Li2O or ~40% of the of the World's hardrock lithium resources) with plenty more to come.
“AVZ is convinced its JORC resource size could be trebled with further exploration”, 3x the current JORC lithium resource, go figure that! I have. All the best to all AVZ shareholders and to others.
Not more to add than Spod Oresomely colossal it is indeed. Tick tock, Bye …
……………………………………………………………………………………………….…… “The two highest grade in the world — as well as the largest hard-rock projects — are Greenbushes in Western Australia and AVZ’s Manono. The Greenbushes pit is now more than 500m deep whereas AVZ is at surface — and has tin as a by-product credit.” *, 11th September 2018
