Scumbags lodge a capping offer at 36, once the 10 minute closing auction is operative, safe in the knowledge that if anyone puts in a counter-bid at 36 or higher (i.e. if there's any danger it might actually trade) then there is time to withdraw the offer. Takes it out after the auction, having picked a few up at 35, probably by front-running the genuine bids at 35, by lodging smaller bids higher up, to 'jump' the queue, but not move the matching price
Overall effect is they use a false offer to push sellers beneath that 36 level, to get their orders done, when in fact the scumbags are a buyer of as much as is available
