Agree that an ML (in isolation) may have less of an instant impact that many might think. However, it is the combination of several 'breakthrough' announcements (all due this quarter and possibly within relatively short succession of one another IMO) that will have the larger financial institutions, local & global fund managers (particular those with an ESG focus) and high net worth individuals licking their lips and wanting a substantial slice of the AVZ pie IMO.
The imminent and exponential re-rate (IMO) will be due to the below three factors IMO.
1. The decisive breaking of all historical technical resistance (new all-time highs = zero 'trapped' holders = blue sky SP potential) whilst remaining substantially undervalued vs development peers. Note: With very few trapped holders left to consider IMO, the breaking of 'final resistance' could be just days away IMO, and may even occur prior to the majority (or at least some) of the internal (company) announcements that are now due i.e should the macro & technical outlooks for the sector continue to improve at the rate that they have been in recent months.
2. Those aforementioned financial entities buying (and in many cases being allowed to buy) AVZ in bulk, adding further fuel to the above 'blue sky' technicals scenario, particularly if once (IMO) the project is fully funded & has been given the green light (FID) to proceed to the construction & commissioning phase.
3. The market value of AVZ (SP x SOI) transitioning from explorer/developer based calculations (i.e. NPV, IRR etc.) to producer based calculations (eg. P/E, P/B, P/S, P/CF, PEG, yields etc.)
Therefore, your statement 'There has not been one announcement where it has not traded at or below the pre announcement price. FACT.'
will have little to no relevance in the not too distant future IMO, much like your seemingly daily interjections (the world according to Gareth) & historical trading commentary on HC.
