Felix Tshisekedi and The DRC Ministry of Mines at the Dubai 2021 Expo



The Ministry of Mines took an active part in the 2021 expo which took place in DUBAI.

This exhibition which touches all areas of national life is of capital importance because the DRC is called upon to sell its brand image internationally.

The President of the Republic His Excellency Félix Antoine TSHISEKEDI who stayed on Arab soil for a state visit was accompanied by several Members of the Government including His Excellency Antoinette SAMBA KALAMBAYI, National Minister of Mines.

It should be noted that the delegation of the DRC visited the Stand of our country yesterday Wednesday, October 13, 2021.

On the instructions of the Minister of Mines, the Coordinator of the CTCPM, Mr. MABOLIA YENGA had made all arrangements for good visibility of the stand with the exhibition of samples of mineral rocks that the DRC has, in particular the so-called transition metals ” GREEN METALS »Two CTCPM experts were involved.

They are Messrs Emmanuel NDIATU MAVUNGU from the Communication and Investment Promotion department and Eric MANTUILA TADILA Expert-geologist from the Quarry Mining Crafts department to ensure the permanence of the stand.



It is in the early evening of Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at the head of a large delegation, Antoinette N’Samba Kalambayi, Minister of Mines, marked with her presence the Expo Dubai.

She was welcomed at the pavilion of the DRC, by the Minister of Foreign Trade, Jean – Lucien Busa who is the interface of our country in this world forum.

In the space reserved for the ministry of mines, the minister in charge was entitled to explanations from the experts of her ministry on the choice of documentation, maps and ores exposed.

Experts from the Ministry and the technical unit of the CTCPM suggested to the Minister the possibility of improving, better still renovating the mine stand by diversifying samples of all minerals produced in the DRC.

The boss of mines said she was in favor of this proposal and asked to integrate bauxite, a mineral of interest to the United Arab Emirates, as soon as possible.

Also, she promised to study the various proposals upon her return to the country given that this world forum will continue until March 2022.

Immediately afterwards, the Minister spoke with the country director of the Expo.

It is a question of standing out by hammering more into the world on minerals the geostrategic position of the country.

She suggests if there is the possibility during the exhibition to make screenings, organize conferences to sell the DRC well.
