I have no issue with performance shares for the BOD as I think they are an excellent incentive to align management to the goals required for overall success
My only only issue with the proposed tranches in the current proposal is quite simply I believe the hurdles are too low
The performance shares proposed are not insubstantial rewards by any means
I just think some of them are linked to relatively low hanging fruit
So in summary I'm all for rewarding the BOD with performance shares but simply the current proposed hurdles need to be "heightened" and more aggressive in their aims
