I agree with you on the broader thematic. I am certainly not saying that I don't believe that WA Lithium wont become battery quality. In terms of forming any real opinion on it, I am still trying to wrap by head around the comments made by the Mining 121 video, who seemed to suggest something along the lines of "Retail investors aren't taking impurities into account". Which miners was he referring to? I have no idea. But I am not educated enough to be able to dismiss claims like his without digging deeper.
In any of the lithium companies I was involved in, I would think the due diligence to determine if it was battery grade ore being sold is vital. That said, yes, PLS (of which I am a holder) selling spod at the $$$ they have been selling is a tick in the direction of impurities not being an issue. For me this is an experiment in ignoring my confirmation bias and making sure I am not wrong.
