With recent Trips to an Expo in DUBAI.
This exhibition which touches on all areas of national life is of capital importance because the DRC is called upon to sell its brand image internationally.
It seems Mining Week is on the agenda for the 24th & 25th of Nov ( Online )

Here he is standing next to Joe in Rome the other Day

The main objective of the DRC-Africa Business Forum 2021 on “ Fostering the development of a battery, electric vehicle and renewable energy value chain and market in Africa” is to bring together high-level stakeholders with the view to dialoguing, identifying opportunities and facilitating investments to increase Africa’s share of the battery, electric vehicles and renewable energy value chain.
The global transition towards green energy and rapid decarbonization holds significant opportunities for Africa.
It has spurred the demand for electric vehicles and investment in battery-powered storage systems, which is expanding the deployment of solar and wind energy in particular.
Thanks to its endowment in natural resources and especially strategic minerals that are components of lithium-ion batteries, the Democratic Republic of the Congo can play a key role in global energy transition regarding energy storage and electric mobility.
What is DRC Mining Week?
Established in 2004 in the heart of the Copperbelt, DRC Mining Week is the deal making platform for all the mining stakeholders doing business in the DRC.
Bringing together key local and international professionals from more than 45 countries, DRC Mining Week aims to showcase and explore the
vast investment opportunities the DRC has to offer.
Although we greatly missed the pleasure of getting together in-person in 2020, DRC Mining Week has now fully embraced the online tools enabling the community to stay connected.
Our calendar of digital activities intends to keep us in touch until we meet again in Lubumbashi in June 2022.
Why is DRC on the mining business map?
