Unfortunately China rarely takes on board messages emanating from the west because it considers its economic policies, political ideology and social structure superior.
However, commencing 2022, China may be busy managing its own economic demons, particularly unwinding its excessive debt (China's household and corporate debt are higher than that of the US just prior to the GFC in 2007). And let's not forget its unfolding property bust, which is a train-wreck in the making. Unfortunately, due to our integrated trade connections, if China sneezes we are likely to catch cold.
