This is very much a Catch-22 situation where neither party can make a public announcement first.

DRC cannot make a public announcement through the forum as it causes problems for the company (w.r.t. ASX)
The company cannot put a trading halt pending announcement because it takes the shine away from DRC on a very public forum.

I am sure there are other layers of complexities, but this is what I see. Given the stages towards a functioning mine that AVZ has been through, the timely (though some might disagree on that) checks, and the mammoth resource, I don't see any cause for alarm. Dec 2023, $3 price target for me.
