    plus imagine dealing with a multiple hundred billion dollar Chinese company and seeking an extension till end of year then for some reason it goes into Jan and you have to seek another one. you’d look like a dckhead and they’d be thinking this guy is taking the piss.

    better to get the longest extension upfront so you don’t have to go back to them till the deal is done
