Stocks a bit red across the board today so I thought I would post some perspective.
Above is the lithium scoreboard I screenshot from Howard Kleins twitter post. Each company is ranked in order of Market Cap. As there are various lithium products, volume produced by companies is often reffered to as LCE (Lithium carbonate equivalent)

Did you know that the 10mtpa plant size that AVZ is looking to go ahead with is on par with the LCE that SQM and Albemarle produce?
This would make AVZ the same production size as the worlds biggest lithium producers.

Market Caps in USD:
AVZ - $1.5B
SQM - $27B
Albemarle: $31B

IMO the run for AVZ has only just begun. I also think over time the comparisons and bickering between other Austrialian lithium companies will become less relevant as nothing ASX listed will compare. For a more realistic comparison AVZ will be compared to the biggest producers.
