It still puzzles me to this day why Huayou didn't convert their AVZ options. If they did, with about 19% holding at that time, AVZ would have been in their pocket. May be they got greedy that they hoped AVZ will fold without their money. Their loss is definitely our gain. I am not complaining, as I look back, in fact I am extremely happy that they didn't convert their options. The share price crashed and many of us LTH bought in or averaged down. I have millions of shares and still waiting patiently for this to increase further. And it will.
In my view, a mining company should look at the quality of the stuff in the ground, not the share price at that time. Then again, what do I know, I am just another of those idiots who bought at the bottom to average down. Fortune favours the bold.
