I work for a certain toll road company. Last year I fitted a EV charger to one of our response vehicles. This was a first and other assets interstate are following suit. DoT have also reached out regarding this. Several European countries have all their roadside assist vehicles fitted with these. Rule of thumb is they give you about 1km per minute of charge. We will tow you off the road to a safe location then charge you up. We have had three vehicles run out of charge so far on our network.
