There are brokers that will let you settle all of your trades at the end of the day and not as they occur and the brokerage is based on the total trades for the day on each stock and not each trade.
That means someone could buy 25 AVZ shares 1000 times in a day and they will get charged one brokerage fee for the total of the 25,000 AVZ shares they bought and not 1000 lots of brokerage fees.
