3,595GWh, will require 2.9 million tons LCE per year by 2030.
That's about Seven times of last year's global demand.

Many many new mines are required over next 8 years to meet this demand, imo.

Apart from CATL already raised US$9B for expansion, few other large battery makers are currently raising and will raise massive cash over next few months including LG ES (raising US$10B), SVOLT ET (already raised US$3.1B in 2021, planning IPO in March 2022), China Aviation Lithium Battery Tech (pre-IPO valuation, CNY 50B).  

CATH (CATL) will definitely need Manono project to fulfill their future expansion plan, to maintain its largest market share, imo.
