AVZ: environmental and social parts of mining licence satisfied just waiting for final technical tick with already positive feedback.
No problems with DRC government....fully on board with AVZ part of the DRC battery council expediting bringing AVZ to mining. BTW Bosch are also on this council and are are planning to form a joint venture to build the machinery to equip Volkswagen's battery cell factories....Bosch/VW/AVZ???
Also with brine deposits such as the large producers in Chile there are problems with environmental issues because brines use so much water destroying the environment. Also with brines the Catch 22 problem, the more lithium produced the more potash(fertilizer) by-product which can lead to an oversupply of potash crashing the fertilizer price.
Regarding taxes the new president in Chile is planning to increase taxes making mining more expensive where in the DRC(AVZ) the opposite is true-The Special Economic Zone set up specifically for Manono(AVZ) will reduce taxes, duties and royalties including a VAT exemption and tax holiday increasing the NPV/IRR and reducing the payback period which is already phenomenally short because of the size of the AVZ output, high lithium and tin prices, and low mining and processing costs due to the nature of AVZ's deposit-the largest, readily accessible(at and near surface, homogenous, low strip ratio) and low processing costs(consistent high grade and lowest impurities).
Lithium and tin will be the rock in a volatile market and will continue its phenomenal upward price progression as tin, both metals in short supply for the electric vehicle/energy storage revolution.
