No expert here but common sense says the DRC are going to be left losing a lot of their GDP if they made all minerals be transformed in the DRC. It’s one headline and I’d like to see more on where it’s come from and specifics if anyone has an article.
Don’t get me wrong I’m all for the DRC pushing more transformation in their country and I think it’s smart. But I don’t think they are going to make all companies go all or nothing and wait years for development of transformation plants. On top of that it would reduce investor confidence in the DRC.
So in short I just don’t think this will impact AVZ at all. We have seen similar things pop up in the past and turn out to be nothing. But ofc I could be wrong but couldn’t find that much more on this.
