88E was my last big failed investment before going in hard on AVZ. Got smashed when their Icewine 2 well ended up a duster and learnt the harsh risks of oilers. Decided risking big on something that may or may not be there was a bit stupid. Today’s duster by 88E again (down ~60% in London as I type) certainly reminds me of that time.Had some AVZ then but had just been reamed by the crash to 4c then too. Dark days down plenty at that stage. At that time I decided well AVZ has the biggest best deposit in the world and at some stage someone is going to want this. Went big, accumulating through the dark times and said I either lose it all or this will do well in time. Well, a few years later with endless dramas and plot twists here we stand today on the cusp of the ML. Hell of a journey and looking forward to the next exciting chapters that will soon unfold.
