Any discussion is productive, so long as it is a discussion and not a statement uninterested in attracting opposing views.
In this specific instance - and forgive my inability to get into names of voices of reason or happy tweeters, as I have difficulty following anyone besides @Scarpa - what prompted my response is the fact that the two suitors ( that have been around before you joined these threads ) are seen as making offers that fit within what the currently flowing SP reality/mentality is. Neither upramping nor downramping, extravagant or modest. In my view it makes sense. Of course, you can have a different understanding.
Your analysis on posters and postings escapes me. I can only speak for myself. I am not on HC to be judged or to be applauded. I am only interested in seeing which way my investment is heading, be it in AVZ or elsewhere.
