21/3/22 AVZ included in ASX 200, 18/3/22 was the Friday and last day of trading prior to that event.

If you go to that day on the chart the SP traded between 86 and 92 cents. 92 cents was the close of trading and the moment the big share moves took place and the large short position was placed.

From 21/3/22 the steady move to $1.365 cents commenced, same as majority of other lithium stocks, followed by the strong correction to current SP.

What triggered the correction?

Probably a multitude of reasons, slightly overcooked Lithium SP's, the market needed a breather and the Covid outbreak in China, followed by the lockup of Shang Hai, a 26 million people city.

I think you might find the large swing and SP movement could be caused by these events.

At this moment AVZ is waiting for news from DRC / CATH / ML / BFS / FID.
When will SP go up? When the time is right.
