I can only stick to what was said at the Frankfurt Conference two days ago. When Nigel Ferguson, Managing Director was asked when he thought that the mining licence will be officially announced he said, that 'he expected it this week'-one more day left; Friday! Now interestingly NO mention of any change in the CATH(CATL) extension past April 30, so maybe tomorrow is the day, mining licence and funds executed and then a cascade of strong re-rating catalysts triggered by the mining licence.

Worth repeating:

The mining licence will have huge ramifications, it being the green light for big funds to buy in and will will trigger some huge re-rating catalysts such as the BFS which will be massive due to the exponential increase in lithium and tin prices, the planning of a mammoth 10 Mtpa output(two times greater than PLS's 2 plants combined), increased resource size, think a mammoth increase in NPV, IRR and decreased payback period. The BFS will rock the lithium world. Other short term catalysts to follow-PRESS HERE

BTW the recent PLS auction record for spot is very positive for the lithium market. Also, it cannot be unnoticed the H.U.G.E Vanguard Group who have 7 trillion in global assets recently bought 66.15 million AVZ shares, and the M.O.N.S.T.E.R. Black Rock, the world's largest asset manager, with US$10 trillion in assets under management, recently acquired 3.32 million shares. They are both set up for the strong re-rating catalysts short term.

That’s simply because of AVZs inclusion within the ASX 200, Vanguard have to buy for the VAS index fund and Blackrock have to buy for IOZ index fund in line with market cap movements. It’s not because Vanguard or Blackrock are actively investing in AVZ. IMO Friday is too late to come back with news on extending the CATL date..would be very bad PR, if there was an issue then surely there would be some softening up language from AVZ by now.
