You have been a chronic downramper in this process scaremongering about the DRC. The mining licence criteria have all been met since the 13th of March. At worst the DRC has 30 days to issue the licence from that date(13th March) or it will be granted in the courts. BTW AVZ is the only miner on the DRC battery council. The DRC are in close collaboration with AVZ and are wanting to develop this project. They would not dare take away the licence as it would put back the DRC for years as a place of confidence that companies could invest and do business.
I'll stick with the
official company information as to when this licence will be issued and all indications are that the official mining licence is
I.M.M.I.N.E.N.T.!
From this:
and the latest from the Frankfurt conference on Tuesday:
When Nigel Ferguson, Managing Director was asked when he thought that the mining licence will be officially announced he said, that
'he expected it this week'-
one more day left;
Friday!
We wait and if not tomorrow it will be very soon. As others like poster Wombat 74 have pointed out, lithium deposits like ours are scarce(largest high grade lithium deposit with the lowest impurities;3rd largest tin resource globally) and are in huge demand with structural lithium deficits predicted for years. The pressure to secure future lithium supply has never been greater!
We also have Nigel travelling the world now promoting and securing who knows what deals. Tesla, Bosch and CATL present at recent DRC battery industry symposium. It's all happening and this extra time has actually acted in AVZ's favour!
