It seems that further progress has been made per the DRC Mining Cadastre site...
A few new boxes entered around the AVZ tenements indicate that Congo Environment and Mining Consulting (CEMIC) have been granted a few research permits. A number of things that grab my attention from this:
1. Updates are actually being made to the Mining Cadastre site
2. Who is CEMIC? A brief search of their website shows they have assisted Dathcom with drilling, but don't seem to have a whole lot more information
3. What intentions do they have with the research permits of the surrounding tenements?
4. Will they have any arrangements with AVZ going forward / is this the part of the DRC government that is being ceded 10% of the project?
5. Still looking for the middle tenement (13359) to be filled in.
DYOR here. These are my observations but would appreciate input from other posters more knowledgeable?
