From our limited understanding of what has happened behind the scenes, I don't know what any other AAA tier management could do any differently. At least after the fact now, without the power of hindsight to know what moves the Chinese and corrupt officials would make back in 2021.

You could argue they should have been ready for these moves to be made, but they a) aren't psychic and b) can't be seen to be acting as if the government they are relying on is corrupt from the get go.

Changing management now would be putting us back to square 1 with the DRC who we are entirely beholden to until we have ML and losing all the lessons learned along the way.
