Yes, I agree. CATH has deep pockets & is one of the largest battery producers in the world. Has it been hiding? I see no evidence it has tried to influence the DRC Govt to grant AVZ the mining licence - it's in their bloody interest to get the mine developed asap. Are they hedging their bets? Pretty poor form frankly. They also could have influenced Beijing re Zijin's unlawful pursuits but instead have adopted a benign approach of sit back & do nothing (at least, it appears this way). I own both PLS & AVZ. Manono makes the Pilgangoora resource look a drop in the ocean. Manono is superior is every way - much larger resource, better Li grade & you walk on the stuff (PLS has drill to a depth of 80m to get it). Yet, here we are. No licence, ongoing disputes with Zijin, corrupt politicians while PLS has declared an interim dividend of 11c (equivalent to almost 5% fully franked annually) while sitting on almost $3 billion cash. The DRC Govt continues to fail its people!

at the end of the day would CATL care if a Chinese miner is running Monano instead of AVZ ?
