Yes it seems like the President values the MoP more for his re-election chances rather than sticking to his mandate of eliminating corruption in the government. One would like to think otherwise but after 12 months of inaction and ignoring the IGF report with regards to the MoP, plus why is JFMK still there?
Trouble is we can't exactly come out and condemn the President when he hasn't really showed his hand (still) even as everything goes backwards under ministers in the government now also including MoM. He's managed to distance himself from it all by never mentioning any of it publicly.
Nigel apparently explained everything to the President last June along with the paperwork back it up.The President during the meeting apparently told MoP to sort it out and she's blatantly ignored him along with JFMK who collectively tried to force Marius to sign bogus paperwork on behalf of AVZ.Meanwhile the decree's get cancelled.It's good to see Nigel seemingly in DRC but after the last meeting with FT mid last year here we still are some 9 months later.
The President is either complicit, beholden to powers within the government or just outright useless it seems. It just seems less and less likely that he has some master plan that he's slowly working at to rid the government and public services of these people and if he is it's a lot more 'selective' than that.It's like we're the butt of some sick joke.
Everything is so clearly laid out yet these people are blatantly corrupt and somehow entrenched in positions of power with complete immunity despite it being completely obvious.Absolute head f*. Plus on top of all that mining lithium in the DRC is at least 12 months behind schedule, just so stupid missing out on the absolute opportune timing for production.

For shareholders, no resolution still after about 10 months, the price of lithium has crashed, we've got a bear market with no end in sight, trust in the DRC authorities absolutely shot. Regardless what happens from this point it's hard to see how we're not in for more pain.
