So you believe the USA have enough influence for it? Then why the postponement? They don’t even respect the memorandum of understanding signed with FMG in September 2020, 3 years later they want to give this 80 billion project to the Chinese. It would create thousands of jobs and a third of the total electricity production in Africa. In my eyes even a very important project, and the drc don’t follow their own contract.
Of course it’s a different project, but it shows the mentality of the government. Postponement after postponement, don’t follow their laws or contracts and no payback in the worst case or in a win. I would love to see some money but they are not trustworthy.
