Dose anyone else find it ironic that back in the day the DRC government/comminere had no money to fund/develop the manono project so like all good countries did a JV with a company (AVZ) that had the finances to develop the resource, then a hand full of DRC government people thought better to line their own pockets then the the pockets of the DRC people and refuse/hold up the said company and sell to a third party(zijin) for a 10th of the price. Now in doing that cominere/DRC goverment is very likely to be facing damages in the hundreds of millions even billions payable to AVZ. the funny part is that AVZ will use those potentially new found funds on infrastructure etc in the manono area, so effectivly the DRC/comminere will be paying for infrastructure they had no finances to pay for in the first place. then throw Zijin into the mix whos 100 million dollars could have been better spent then placing in brown paper bags.
