Simple answer is that your shares aren't "worth nothing" however in the absence of a market in which they can be traded there is no price discovery mechanism in which a price can be ascertained. The price they last traded at is now completely irrelevant which is why your broker's system has removed it. Their system has no other number to replace it with since there is no market for this stock at present. Zero is the default.

Your shares have a value but nobody knows what that value is. It might be 1c or it might be $1. There will be lots of opinions, of that you can be sure, but none can claim to be right. If only you could bank opinions. Valuation of a stock is what the market is designed to do but the company has decided that it can't or won't comply with the listing rules so that option isn't available to you. Until it is your "value" question cannot be answered unless you find a buyer off market as some have done.

I hope this helps just a little.
