Running discussion on SP, page-82307

I could never abide by this argument. Why would the Australian government support the exploitation of the world's biggest lithium resource in Africa over own own product, even if AVZ is an australian company?
Lost Australia jobs, royalties and potential downstream processing and manufacturing. I'm afraid we are on our own here. In fact, I shouldn't say 'we' because 'we' no longer have a say in the company's direction.
I would love to hear another position on this.
