This first phase of the water and sanitation services access program, which concerns the provinces of Kwilu, Kasaï, Kasai-Central and Kasaï-Oriental, is financed to the tune of 400 million US dollars by the World Bank, including 101 million US dollars transferred to the province of Kasaï by the Ministry of Finance for the implementation of activities in the town of Tshikapa, in the city of Mweka, the city of Luebo, the city of Basongo, the chiefdom of Bakuba, and in the Basongo sector.
