Why would you poke your head into a potential volatile setting if there wasn't another discussion or announcement to be had from visiting the home of AVZ? The Lions (AVZ shareholders) would be circling the perimeter of this conference to rip you apart limb by Limb. Lets face it the ICC and ICSID Rulings are about to be released and its possible the lawyers have already been briefed on the likely Orders. So the Minister of Mines from the DRC is visiting Aust. Has he organised to meet with AVZ and continue negotiating an amicable settlement of the dispute over the ML with the DRC? I hope he has been given the authority from the President to negotiate the outcome. AVZ lawyers will be in the driving seat if this is the case. Lets not waste the opportunity! I hope we have some keen AVZ people on the ground in W.A. who can follow the movements of the Minister of Mines while he is here in Aust. It would be great to get some information on this. Will AVZ reach out or at least give us some indication of their attempts to meet with him? I am sure there are many who would be interested to know the Intentions behind this visit and if there are plans to meet with other Mining representatives or even our Federal Govt. To think the Minister of Mines would be coming over here to attract further interest from Aust. mining companies to invest in the DRC. is ludicrous given their past performance and corruption. I sincerely hope there is positive news to come from this visit that can lead to a final settlement for AVZ shareholders.

I totally agree. I'm sure there are a number of LTH's based in Perth that would be attempting to get a ringside seat. I have to admit though that last year the previous DRC rep pulled out before the conference started. Lets hope the new MoM is up to the task and we can finally see that there's light at the end of the tunnel, and that it's not a train!
