Like many decent shareholders I believe he would have been welcomed as a shareholder...no reason not to be

In addition to that imo I don't think the Board disliked his nomination for the position.........I assume they just had preferred other candidates (there were quite a few)

From what I observed there were many candidates who nominated who seemed passionate about ensuring the AVZ Board wasn't infiltrated or overrun in a hostile manner by elements who may have been severely corrupted by Chinese influence ( ie Simon Cong, CCP, Zijin) or in bed with DRC corruption (Cominiere, Kibeya) or willing to sell honest Mum and Dad Australian shareholders down the river for their own personal gain.
