I don’t want to sound like a broken record, but the Jan CATL announcement to purchase 30.5% for USD259.25M values AVZ’s share of 44.5% at AUD580M using AUDUSD 0.65. With 3.5B shares on issue, the CATL transaction values each AVZ share at AUD580M / 3.5B shares = 17c. Soooo….17c…..but Kobold will pay $4??? Somehow I don’t think so. At $4 a share, 3.5B shares and 44.5% ownership, that would value Manono at over AUD30B ($4 x 3.5B / 0.445). Again…somehow I don’t think so.

what about the in country downstream value that was past of that deal? The value added by CATHS connections and experience. Price to ‘JV’ and price to completely buy out are two completely different prices. this equals extremely flawed and incorrect valuation.
