Interestingly the best comparison to what usually occurs  on a Lithium (Hard rock) stock after a v.large maiden Jorc which is  partially expected and which surprises the market to the upside is shown by KDR in Dec 2016.

KDR announced a large maiden Jorc  (128mt @ 1.44% Li20) on the 5th of Dec 2016 which was a bit  bigger than the market expected.

The on the day of the ann, 5th Dec , KDR opened at 49c rallied to 51.5 before the sell the news crew started to exit. KDR SP  dropped for 2 days after the Ann down to 43c before selling petered out and the investors then took over and drove it up to 64.5c a few days later.

Sell the news is a common phenomena in my experience... but doesn't last long on world class assets IMO





AVZ is now on day 3 since the Maiden Jorc ann... Be interesting to see how it plays out this time.
