I dare say the major factor for this at the moment is power ( and of course construction cost ). A plant like that takes enormous power to run.
Although NF comments regarding the hydro plant 85kms away was very reassuring. I believe he said 35 or 45m to upgrade it to where it could supply power for a LiOH plant. I don’t think this comment has been received as well as it should be. That’s huge in my opinion.
