The Democratic Republic of Congo will mark its presence at the Future Minerals Forum to be held from 9 to 11 January 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The event, an international hub that brings together mining industry leaders, investors, policymakers and experts from various regions, focuses on the regions of Africa and West and Central Asia, highlighting the challenges and opportunities of the global mining sector.

Under the leadership of Her Excellency the Minister of Mines, Antoinette N'SAMBA KALAMBAYI, the DRC delegation, made up of Heads of Services under her supervision, will seize this strategic opportunity to highlight the immense potential of the Congolese mining sector. The DRC, known for its vast resources of essential and critical minerals, aspires to attract foreign investment by promoting win-win partnerships.

As a gateway to the mining sector, the participation of the Mining Cadastre in the forum is mainly aimed at highlighting the DRC's firm commitment to the transparent management and good governance of its mining domain. In addition, CAMI, in synergy with other departments of the Ministry of Mines present, will be dedicated to strengthening the confidence of potential international investors and other stakeholders through constructive exchanges, while opening up to access to knowledge and cutting-edge technologies to optimize this vital sector for our economy.
