China's regime is greedily grabbing raw materials from all over the world. To achieve this, companies like Zijin are needed. But the West has already figured out how the game works. The calculation doesn't add up. High US tariffs and far-reaching economic restrictions will continue to increase and dependencies on China will decrease sharply in the future. And China is losing the key global markets it needs to survive and is running into major economic problems. The dangerous thing is that if regimes are threatened domestically, they always need an external enemy and the complicated geopolitical situation only gets worse.
